Vaayu Tech was founded with a mission to combat industrial air pollution and carbon emissions through innovative engineering. The startup’s flagship product, Vaayu AirSmart, is a plug-and-play modular carbon-capture unit that can attach to chimneys and exhaust outlets of small and medium industries—capturing up to 90% of particulate matter and CO₂ equivalents.

Unlike massive centralized capture systems, Vaayu’s model is scalable and decentralized, targeting small factories and workshops that collectively account for over 60% of urban industrial emissions. Its AI-powered system continuously monitors emission quality, adjusts filtration rate, and even converts captured carbon into usable industrial compounds.

The company has conducted pilots in Pune and Nagpur industrial zones, achieving measurable emission reductions certified by local pollution boards. It has also received recognition from India’s Ministry of MSME and various clean-tech accelerators, but now faces scaling challenges due to rising component costs and limited funds.

With India and Southeast Asia pushing net-zero initiatives, Vaayu Tech stands positioned to become a regional leader in affordable, deployable clean-air technology, but only if it receives timely capital to manufacture and deploy units at scale.
