VoltEdge Mobility is an early-stage automobile startup based in Pune, India, founded by two automotive engineers and a battery researcher. Their mission is to make electric mobility accessible to the middle class by designing an electric hatchback with:

• A 280 km single-charge range using advanced lithium–iron–phosphate (LFP) batteries

• Fast-charging capability (0–80% in 35 minutes)

• Modular battery packs to reduce replacement costs

• Smart IoT-enabled dashboard with live efficiency monitoring

While the prototype has been successfully tested, VoltEdge is struggling with lack of capital to move from prototype to pre-production. Competing with deep-pocketed incumbents makes it even harder for them to be noticed.

VoltEdge’s founders believe JustStartUP could give them the visibility they desperately need — helping them pitch to investors, connect with early adopters, and validate demand. Their vision is not just to build another EV but to democratize clean mobility in India’s Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities where price sensitivity is high but the shift to EVs is inevitable.

Funding Requirements (INR)

• Minimum Funding: ₹41,50,000 (~$50,000) – to refine battery modules and improve safety testing

• Required Funding (Seed Ask): ₹2,49,00,000 (~$300,000) – to build 20 pilot vehicles, secure certifications, and set up a small assembly line

• Maximum Funding (Growth Potential): ₹8,30,00,000 (~$1,000,000) – to scale to pre-production, onboard suppliers, and launch in 3 cities with 500+ vehicles
