Quantex Fusion Labs was founded with one impossible-sounding mission: to make limitless clean energy a reality. While the world races toward solar and hydrogen, Quantex took a bolder path—miniaturized fusion reactors that can generate power safely without radioactive waste or massive infrastructure.

Their prototype, Q-1 Core, uses a magnetic-plasma confinement system with AI-regulated temperature balancing that maintains stability at over 120 million °C. Instead of requiring massive facilities, the reactor is designed for modular container-sized deployment, capable of powering remote factories, hospitals, or even small towns.

The initial tests at their Bengaluru R&D center achieved a stable plasma confinement for 6.2 seconds, a record among independent Indian labs. Energy institutions and defense organizations have already expressed interest—but the startup is on the brink of collapse.

Component imports are stuck at customs, safety certifications are delayed due to unpaid fees, and electricity bills for the lab are months overdue. The founders—three former IISc engineers—have mortgaged their homes to keep the reactor chamber powered. Without funding, the experiment will shut down permanently, erasing years of pioneering work that could make India the first developing nation to master practical fusion power.
