CleanWatts Tech is an early-stage cleantech startup based in Bangalore, India, founded by two mechanical engineers and an IoT developer. The company’s flagship device, RePurify, connects directly to kitchen and bathroom outlets, filtering greywater (like from sinks and showers) and making it reusable for non-drinking purposes such as toilet flushing and gardening.

The system uses low-cost IoT sensors to monitor water quality in real time, automatically adjusting filtration cycles for efficiency. Early pilot projects across 50 households in Bangalore showed a 70% reduction in freshwater usage, saving costs for families and reducing pressure on city water systems.

CleanWatts aims to target housing societies, urban developers, and municipalities, positioning itself as a scalable solution for India’s growing water crisis.
