Founded in 2023 by a biomedical engineering graduate team in Seoul, BioSkin Wearables aims to make health monitoring affordable, discreet, and accessible. Unlike bulky fitness trackers, BioSkin’s innovation lies in its thin, flexible skin patch embedded with micro-sensors that can:

• Track hydration and electrolyte levels

• Monitor stress hormones through sweat

• Measure heart rate and skin temperature

• Sync real-time data to a smartphone app with personalized recommendations

The patches are non-invasive, disposable, and affordable, making them suitable for everyday athletes as well as hospitals monitoring patients remotely.

Early pilots with local sports teams and clinics have shown promising accuracy, with athletes praising the lightweight feel compared to wristbands. However, scaling production and improving durability requires funding that the bootstrapped team currently lacks.

The founders believe JustStartUP can give them the visibility they need to attract backers in sports tech, fitness, and healthcare, while also polishing their pitch to highlight BioSkin’s disruptive potential.
