AeroHarvest was founded to tackle one of India’s most pressing problems: food security in shrinking urban spaces. With cities growing rapidly and farmland shrinking, traditional farming can’t keep up. AeroHarvest designed AI-controlled vertical farming towers that use hydroponics and solar energy to grow vegetables, fruits, and herbs in dense urban areas.

Each tower is modular, requiring 90% less water and 70% less space than traditional farming. The system uses AI to monitor nutrients, humidity, and growth cycles, ensuring maximum yield with minimal human intervention. Farmers, apartment complexes, and even schools can install AeroHarvest towers to grow fresh produce year-round without worrying about soil or weather conditions.

The startup already piloted its towers in 3 Delhi schools and 2 housing complexes, producing over 2 tons of pesticide-free vegetables in just six months. Families reported better access to fresh food, schools integrated farming into their curriculum, and residents saved significantly on groceries.

But now AeroHarvest is at a breaking point. Import costs for components are high, the team is down to 4 engineers, and without capital, expansion has stalled. The vision is powerful—urban farming can solve food shortages, reduce carbon footprints, and empower communities—but execution requires funding.

With India’s focus on smart cities and sustainable food systems, AeroHarvest could become a revolutionary leader in agri-tech. Without urgent support, however, the startup will shut down before scaling its life-changing solution.
